NAEMSP Awards

The following awards are presented annually at the NAEMSP Annual Meeting in January. Click below to review the criteria and submit a nomination.

This annual award is presented to person who has made a lasting, major contribution to the national EMS community.

This award is presented to an active or past member of NAEMSP who has provided significant leadership to the association and is named after the late Keith Neely, the first non-physician member to serve on the NAEMSP Board of Directors.

The Friends of EMS award is presented to an individual or organization that has been an advocate in furthering NAEMSPโ€™s mission through influencing or implementing national public policy.ย 

Awarded to an NAEMSP member who, through their actions, has demonstrated a relentless commitment to theย  mentorship of others within the specialty of EMS.

This award shall be conferred to an NAEMSP member for exceptionally meritorious conduct in the performance of outstanding services and achievements in a field response setting, large scale event, or disaster.

This new awardย  from NAEMSP & Stryker is meant to foster the early career development of an EMS physician who demonstrates aptitude, talent and potential. The 24-month, $60,000 award will provide support for a supervised career development experience in Emergency Medical Services to support the transition from EMS fellow to independent EMS physician at an academic institution and/or health system with involvement in a ground or air medical EMS system.
