The Department of Emergency Medicine at Denver Health (DH) Medical Center is seeking an experienced board-certified Emergency Medical Services (EMS) physician to serve as an Associate Chair of EMS within the Department of Emergency Medicine. This position is responsible for strategy-setting and oversight for DH’s EMS services across all clinical, academic, and community mission areas. This includes, but is not limited to, clinical medical direction (i.e., Denver Health Paramedic Division (DHPD), other contracted agencies, and community paramedic programs,) Resident & Fellow education, and EMS education and research activities. In addition to the oversight of the above mentioned areas, this position serves as the primary Medical Director for the Denver Health Paramedics. Importantly, this position is also responsible for working collaboratively with the EMS Medical Director for the Department of Safety for the City and County of Denver in the delivery of EMS within the service area including the Denver 911 Call Center. Lastly, this position serves as a core member on the Department of Emergency Medicine’s leadership team, supporting all clinical and academic missions for the department.

The University of Iowa Department of Emergency Medicine’s Division of Emergency Medical Services (EMS) is seeking an EMS Fellowship Program Director. Appointment rank may be at the Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor level on either the tenure track or the clinical (non-tenure) track, consistent with prior experience and qualifications. The Program Director will provide leadership, oversight, and guidance in all aspects of the fellowship. The successful candidate will also maintain an active clinical emergency medicine or pediatric emergency medicine practice and engagement in EMS Division activities, including education, research, clinical outreach, and medical directorship.

Emergency Medicine Specialists, based in Milwaukee, WI, is seeking an Emergency Medical Services Board-Certified/Eligible physician to join our group and lead our health system’s EMS team.  The physician leader will be working alongside a full-time administrative partner to provide EMS leadership and support to the health system at the state level, as well as supporting local hospital-based EMS leadership teams. The ideal candidate is strategic and forward-thinking, has great leadership and communication skills and looks forward to continuing to grow the EMS program.
