EMS Fellowship Director, Department of Emergency Medicine

The University of Iowa Department of Emergency Medicine’s Division of Emergency Medical Services (EMS) is seeking an EMS Fellowship Program Director. Appointment rank may be at the Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor level on either the tenure track or the clinical (non-tenure) track, consistent with prior experience and qualifications. The Program Director will provide leadership, oversight, and guidance in all aspects of the fellowship. The successful candidate will also maintain an active clinical emergency medicine or pediatric emergency medicine practice and engagement in EMS Division activities, including education, research, clinical outreach, and medical directorship.

Emergency Medicine Specialists, based in Milwaukee, WI, is seeking an Emergency Medical Services Board-Certified/Eligible physician to join our group and lead our health system’s EMS team.Ā  The physician leader will be working alongside a full-time administrative partner to provide EMS leadership and support to the health system at the state level, as well as supporting local hospital-based EMS leadership teams. The ideal candidate is strategic and forward-thinking, has great leadership and communication skills and looks forward to continuing to grow the EMS program. There is an excellent network of EMS leaders nationally within our health system including a great structure for support and collaboration with other EMS leaders.
