Mercyhealth is seeking a response-oriented emergency medicine physician to serve in our emergency department, as well as in the field as part of the MD-1 Emergency Response Program.
Opportunity Details:
- Join a well-established, Emergency Medicine/EMS team!
- This full-time opportunity is employed via W2 and benefits eligible.
- Level One Trauma Center, Comprehensive Stroke Center, and Chest Pain Center Accredited!
- Must be EM Residency trained; EMS Fellowship preferred (not required) or similar EMS field experience.
- ABEM or AOBEM board eligible or certified.
- Active IL and WI Medical licenses required.
- Nine 24-hour EMS Field Response Call Shifts per month.
- Must live locally within response area.
- Take home an emergency response vehicle with field emergency response equipment.
- Three 10-hour ED shifts per month.
- Associate Medical Director duties include protocol development, run reviews, quality assurance, accredited primary education, and Operations. >40 EMS agencies with tactical, helicopter, critical care, and special operation opportunities
