All NAEMSP planners are charged with designing activities around the educational needs of the target audiences, which ensures the education presented aligns with the identified professional practice gaps of our learners. Â
NAEMSP CME Mission Statement:Â
The National Association of EMS Physicians (NAEMSP) will offer its members and fellow out-of-hospital healthcare clinicians continuing medical education programs. As part of its ongoing commitment to improving out-of-hospital emergency medical care, these educational programs will have an emphasis on medical updates, techniques, innovations, and general educational topics appropriate to the field of emergency medical services. Â
NAEMSP’s CME Program offerings increase the out-of-hospital emergency medicine healthcare clinicians’ competence and performance through developing or enhancing medical knowledge and expertise; with the goal of becoming proficient in the implementation of new approaches, techniques, and treatment of conditions in the out-of-hospital emergency setting. A strong focus is placed on the importance of patient safety and improving the patient’s overall outcome prior to, and within the EMS System. Â
Intended Outcomes of the CME Program:Â Â
NAEMSP’s‎ CME activities are designed to offer tools, strategies, and practical skills that out-of-hospital emergency healthcare clinicians can immediately integrate into their daily practices. Â
